Through resource sharing, and collaborative efforts, the space provides opportunities for creative expression, collective healing, and community building. Ultimately the Living Room Project hopes to inspire deeper relationship, interdependence, and care amongst qtpoc communities.

Micah is a skilled somatic bodyworker, and one of few queer, gender non-conforming doulas of color, working to create safe space for qtpoc families to birth in ways that are healing, resilient, and loving. He also builds resilience and community by sharing his love of music and good beats as a dj (dj trinity).

Micah's intention is to keep the space completely community/self supported, and not rely on grants. He wants the space to be interdependent with the communities it's a part of, not reliant on foundations that so often gets in the way of the work we want to do or the way we want to do it.
